Human Wellbeing and Public Policy (HWPP) is an international peer-reviewed journal that focuses on advancing interdisciplinary research on human development and wellbeing, with a strong emphasis on data-driven analysis and public policy relevance. The journal serves as a platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to disseminate rigorous and impactful studies that contribute to both academic knowledge and practical policy solutions.
HWPP prioritizes research grounded in empirical evidence, encompassing quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-method approaches. The journal welcomes contributions from various disciplines, including developmental psychology, mental health, public health, wellbeing studies, and human-centered education. Special attention is given to contemporary issues such as digital wellbeing, psychosocial challenges in modern societies, and the determinants of quality of life.
With a primary orientation toward Asian perspectives, HWPP also encourages comparative and cross-cultural studies that enrich global discourse on wellbeing and public policy. Manuscripts are assessed based on methodological rigor, originality, clarity of contribution, and relevance to policy development.
HWPP is published biannually in February and August and operates under an open-access policy, ensuring that all published content is freely available to readers worldwide. Starting from Volume 1 Issue 1, all articles are published exclusively in English to enhance international visibility and academic engagement. The journal does not charge any Article Processing Charges (APC), supporting inclusive and equitable access to scientific publication.
