About the Journal
Transcultural Theology and Global South (TTGS) is an international peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing critical and constructive theological studies from the perspective of the Global South. The journal provides a scholarly platform for rigorous theoretical and interpretative engagement with contemporary theological issues.
TTGS emphasizes contextual, postcolonial, and transcultural approaches in analyzing theological discourses. Its scope includes systematic theology, biblical studies (Old and New Testament), hermeneutics, historical theology, and philosophy of religion. The journal also encourages contributions in intercultural theology, comparative religion, and interreligious dialogue within a global framework.
The journal prioritizes conceptual depth, analytical rigor, and methodological precision grounded in textual, historical-critical, and philosophical approaches. Empirical or practice-based studies are considered only if they significantly contribute to theological theory development.
TTGS is published biannually in May and November and adopts an open-access policy. The journal does not charge any Article Processing Charges (APC), ensuring free access and publication for all authors and readers.
