Focus and Scope
Transcultural Theology and Global South (TTGS) is an international peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing critical and constructive theological studies from the perspective of the Global South. The journal emphasizes theoretical and interpretative analyses of contemporary theological discourses through contextual, postcolonial, and transcultural approaches.
The scope of the journal includes systematic theology, biblical studies (Old and New Testament), hermeneutics, historical theology, and philosophy of religion. Contributions that explore intercultural theology, comparative religion, and interreligious dialogue within a global framework are highly encouraged.
The journal prioritizes conceptual depth, strength of argumentation, and methodological rigor grounded in textual, historical-critical, and philosophical approaches. Empirical or practice-based studies are considered only if they significantly contribute to the development of theological theory.
